Alternatively..

If you've paid to have your book formatted and you're not happy with it, follow this process:

  1. Get in touch with the formatter and tell them you're not happy, but specifically, what you would like instead.
  2. If the formatting is not what you originally agreed on, provide your original brief, highlighting what has been missed or not completed correctly.
  3. If the formatting is simply not what you'd like from a layout perspective, and you've changed your mind on what you would like, then give them an example of what you want.

Ideally, you would have agreed on a design and fonts etc when you hired them. If you did not, make sure you put down exactly what you want.

Use the template in the course to ensure you're covering all your bases on what is needed.

Remember, the more information you provide to your formatter at the beginning, the more you'll get a finished manuscript you love.
